NYK Line opens its own agency in Austria

Japanese NYK Line to start operating an autonomous sales and service station in Vienna on August 1

The Japanese shipping group NYK Line puts marketing of their liner services for containers and ro-ro shipments on a new basis in Austria. They will replace the cooperation with the shipping agency of Schenker & CO AG, which had been lasting for decades, by an own office in Vienna. A team of three, headed by Ms. Gertrud Taylor (previously acting for MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company Austria and Maersk Line) is to start operation in Austria on August 1, 2013. This was confirmed by Klaus-Peter Barth, Managing Director NYK Line (Germany) GmbH, on request of the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.

Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha is one of the world’s leading transportation companies.
